Sophia fell in love with the arts from a very young age. She enjoys performing at events such as Parks Alive, ArtWalk, and the Armstrong Interior Provincial Exhibition.  She performs regularly as a member of the JS Garcia Band, as well as through her own solo sets.  Sophia enjoys busking at local events while accompanying herself on the piano and the guitar, covering various artists as well performing her own songs.  She enjoys a wide range of musical styles such as pop, R&B, Broadway, jazz, and classic rock.

In 2014, Sophia participated in a televised French talent competition, GALALA, in which she won the BC round. As well, she was the winner of the Westside Daze Youth Talent competition in July 2015.  Sophia was a finalist in the Fresh BC Talent Quest 2016, winning stage time on the Penticton Peachfest stage for the summer of 2016.  Sophia Mae won first place in the OMG: Teen Vocal & Spoken Word 2016 competition, winning summer stage time with the Lake Country district festivals.

Whether in English or French, Sophia Mae enjoys performing both original and cover songs for her audiences.  

In 2017, she won the IPE Youth Vocal Competition for her age division and will be performing on the Dodge RAM stage this summer.
